Close Dental is excited to introduce the new and exclusive DENTISURE™, Student Dental Accident Insurance. This plan has been created for children aged between 5 – 19 years, providing insurance cover for accidental injuries occurring at school or school related activities.

The insurance is complimentary to patients as long as the patient maintains their routine 6 monthly preventive care appointments.*

DENTISURE™ eligibility criteria

To be eligible for complimentary DENTISURE™, Student Dental Accident Insurance cover, for accidents occuring at school or school related activity a patient must simply be:

• Aged between 5 and 19 years; and
• A current government or private primary or secondary school student; and
• A patient of Close Dental and must have maintained their routine 6 monthly preventive care appointments.

How do I make a claim?

The patient’s guardian is to provide written notice of their claim to the insurer within 90 days of suffering the injury. This is to be done either by:

Claims must be supported by original supporting reports and documentation such as police or school accident reports, doctors’ reports and hospital reports, as suits the case.
